“There is a fundamental affinity between the work of art and the act of resistance.”
Gilles Deleuze

Begun in 1985, the Biennial of Moving Images is one of the oldest and most important manifestations of artists' film and video in Switzerland as well as in Europe. It brings together the best video, film and multimedia production in the contemporary art arena, offering the local and international audience a unique opportunity to discover a vibrant zone of artistic creation.
For this 10th edition, the accent is on the discovery of multiple horizons. The films take us on a voyage through Eastern Europe, the Middle East, India and South Africa.
