From Saturday October 4th to Monday October 6th

Presentation
The workshop organized in the field of the French-Japanese institute by Alexis Chazard and Gwenola Wagon in the Jouable 2 exhibition proposed the creation of short interactive videos used from domestic interfaces (mouse, keyboard, micro…)
This workshop developed a reflexion on the interactive scenario, the shooting and the editing in relation to the interface.
The max /MSP environment has been used. The real time interface developed at MIT and IRCAM
The creations will be shown at the mediatheque of the French-Japanese institute of Kansai

Description of the workshop
The workshop lasted three days; the participants have been led to the creation of interactive projects. These projects will be then exhibited at the institute.
This workshop had pedagogical, artistic and technique goals. The artists/teachers offered numbers of proposals to be realized with the participants during the workshop.
These have to be interactive projects about to be achieved. These works have been elaborated with the participants. The works had to be realised within three days. The group of ten to twelve participants was constituted of Anglophone Japanese students in art and new media technologies, but also of some of the participants of the JOUABLE exhibition. Alexis Chazard and Gwenola Wagon who animated the workshop, are both artists in the interactivity domain.

On suspense
The questions on interaction and playability meet the thematic of suspense both as cinematographic structure as well as events of the narrative and as well as collective adventure and as group work.
This thematic brings up new artistic goals and presents new ways of thinking interaction.
The spectator goes from the logic of control to that of responsibility, but also to that of loss.
To what kind of repercussion lead these choices, the facts and gestures of the one who exchanges, which dialogue with a programme.

A first clue, led us to the question of pressure on:
